Narcotics Division The Sheriff's Office has a Narcotics Unit of four undercover officers. One is on assignment with the Drug Enforcement Administration. The other three officers are assigned to a local, regional drug task force. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force (SRDTF) is a joint effort between the following agencies Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Wyoming County Sheriff's Office Allegany County Sheriff's Office Olean Police Department Wellsville Police Department Jamestown Police Department Dunkirk Police Department Working together in the SRDTF allows the various member agencies to share resources and personnel. Since the inception of the SRDTF, they have made hundreds of arrests and made several large seizures. The seized assets and property are split amongst the agencies and have helped the SRDTF continue to operate. |
