The mission of the law enforcement divisions of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office is to provide for the peace and security of all residents of Cattaraugus County with particular emphasis on those areas where we are the primary law enforcement agency. This can best be accomplished by continually adjusting our responses to evolving needs in the area of law enforcement throughout the county. We will enforce all the laws for which we are responsible in a fair and impartial manner at all times. We will at all times work in close cooperation with other law enforcement agencies in order to maintain the appropriate level of enforcement.
